This year’s Open Studios event is now in full swing, and our shared exhibit (four of us this year) has had lots of visitors already. Let’s hope the weather holds.

This year’s festival of Hampshire artists has started, and runs for two weeks. We’re exhibiting again, this time with watercolour artist Jill Harrison. We’re open most days of the fortnight, so come by and see what’s happening (more details here).
Hampshire Open Studios is bigger than ever this year, with 500 artists participating in over 180 studio exhibitions. You can see the full site at www.hampshireopenstudios.org.uk
Open Studios is going well this year, with lots of visitors. It seems more people are becoming used to it as an annual event. Hope you enjoy visiting some of Hampshire’s artists.
I’ll be taking part in this year’s Hampshire Artists Open Studios event.
Open Studios 2007 aims to promote the activities and sales of artists and craftspeople living or working in Hampshire. The two week open studio ‘trail’ from 18 August to 2 September gives people the opportunity of visiting artists exhibiting in their homes, studios and village halls. Much of the work is for sale, with the benefit of direct selling.
Check out the website for maps and details of participating artists - So many are taking part this year that there’s sure to be something for everyone. You’ll also find copies of the map brochure in libraries, art suppliers, galleries and community venues around Hampshire, so keep your eyes open!
